i can conclude that, for the year 2006, it's a bloody bad year for me. so many things have happened. more bad than good.
firstly, title was lost in the 2006 nationals
then, came my knee injury which ruled me out for training for a couple of months.
and right after knee injury, came my dismissal from school.
and after which, my heart got shattered by a girl far away in bangkok.
adding salt to wounds, i flew over w/o knowing the exact situation, though we have some beautiful memories that i would like to keep.
after which, my 2nd trip up to bangkok, i lost my passport and my belongings, including my brand new digicam and ipod nano.
back from the trip, i got screwed big time for my studies and passport issue.
FUCKED UP!
but let's recap on some of the good times that i had before the lost of my passport.
arrival in the land of smiles at 0000hrs. new airport, nothing fanciful. so big but nothing. went around finding my thai online friend, but they weren't around. so headed to BU campus to find the rest of them.
so yah, bunked in with them. it will be for the last time already.. =( followed them to seacon for their rehearsal and dry run before the actual competition the next day. it was pretty good performance from them. full of spirits and energy as compared to other teams. good cheorography as well. wonderful!
the next day was the big day. BU was set to do a last minute performance for the buddha in school before setting off to seacon square. but bad luck! oa had a fall, and i wasn't able to spot her due to multiple flyers falling at same time. she was rushed to hospital, and pe toey and the whole team had to reshuffle the routine within 2hrs. pyramids were changed, substitute was subbed in.
if nobody said that the routine was changed prior to the competition within 2hrs, i believed that nobody would ever believe that was possible.
so yah, routine was changed, and i was there to witness it all. my heart was panicking for them all. and they managed to pull it off without a sweat! no stunts fell, though 2 stunts seems to be alittle unstable. but overall good job! and they managed to defend their title for the 3rd year in succession! WELL DONE BU!
i have a race in a couple of hours. time to hit the sack. but my mind is in a mess. i'm so mentally tired from all these.. school, love, headaches and money.. haiz.. let's just hope the race tomorrow will be a OK..
race report to follow tomorrow or the day after.
